Maryl Olsen, Artist & Designer

Born in Chicago Illinois, "The Windy City" a/k/a "The City of Big Shoulders" mine are a bit rounded from all the computer work but I hold them up with pride. I’ve enjoyed a graphics career for over 15 years that encompasses, digital art, web graphics, animation, design and illustration. I´ve done work for Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals. My forte is concept development. Customer satisfaction is my number one priority. Besides graphics I am quick witted and I enjoy headline and minor copywriting so don´t hesitate to ask. With the ability to convey the right message whether funny, gentle, general or stoic you must have your finger on the pulse of the client and know how to deliver. Having the talent to do just that is something I do naturally.

I´ve been creative since winning finger-painting awards at age 3 and thinking up funny skits. I´d dress up in my parents clothes and go out the backdoor ring the front doorbell and they´d open it up and howl. I look for any opportunity to show off my creative fun side and it shows in my work. My ideal day would be working for Disney part-time and leading snorkeling tours and swimming with dolphins the other part of the day.

Loves: ocean, mysteries, travel, museums, animals, animation, and anything that will give me a good laugh or nurtures my little gray cells!
